  5. I’m good at making money, but I’m also really good at saying no to people and not giving them what they want, which, paradoxically, I think is a key to making money and being successful. Because if you give people what they want all the time, then what’s left for them to want?

    You have to keep having goals. You can’t just hang around with people who think you’re cool; you have to constantly want to expand your peer group–to be around smart and talented people who challenge you.

  7. is! No 56: Onward Bound

    With all the traveling to New York, Philly, traversing the streets of Washington D.C., and sleepless nights working and working; you need to break away from it all and relax a bit. So I did. Hopped on a plane and headed south for the Florida panhandle. Leaving behind the big city and all the work I had, a few days of rest, relaxation and then some. Nothing like some good R&R. As we made our descent into the heat and raw humidity of the Gulf Coast, hopes were high that I’d be able to get some. R&R that is.
