“Je t’aime… moi non plus” (French for “I love you… me neither”) by Serge Gainsbourg with girlfriend Jane Birkin in 1969.
Originally written for and recorded with Gainsbourg’s then girlfriend, Brigitte Bardot, in winter 1967. Bardot had asked him to write the most beautiful love song he could imagine and that night he wrote “Je t’aime”. Bardot’s version not released until 1986.

He painted me when I was young because he was in love with me, but now that he has loved me he doesn’t paint me anymore.
