So many people tweeted the Mary Meeker Internet Trends Report link, but I haven’t read that many people talk about what exactly they learned from it. So I’ll start. This stat blew me away:

29% of USA Adults Own Tablet / eReader, Up from 2% Less Than Three Years Ago

Such a big change in such a short time. It’s not that I’m blown away by how many people that is… after all, I appreciate the gravity of how many folks are online in a traditional sense, so why should some new gadget  manifestation blow me away?

Because I don’t hear a proportional amount of strategy (content, apps, design) for this scenario. I do hear about apps and responsive design all the time. And every new CondeNast iPad magazine… but no matter how much noise I hear… it’s simply not proportional to the growth.

Makes a girl wanna write a Kindle ebook. :D
